The integrated total ozone (in Dobson Units) represents the cumulative
ozonesonde measured column ozone. The vertical profile must exceed
a site-determined threshold pressure, e.g., 13 hPa, in order for
this computed value to be reported in the data file header. The integrated
total ozone for the sonde is reported for any flight exceeding this
threshold pressure, up to the flight termination pressure or 8 hPa,
whichever is encountered first. Thus, for flights terminating above 8 hPa
(e.g., 5 hPa), the integrated total computation ceases at the 8 hPa level.
